Throughout the spring, summer and fall, we offer a variety of camping-based overnight trips. Designed for riders of various skill levels, all trips offer you the best possible opportunity to explore pristine and dramatic scenery and learn from your horse, your guides, and the land.
For the adventuresome guest, we offer camping-based riding packages. These trips are designed to allow the intermediate to advanced level rider a chance to see some truly wild and scenic country, while enjoying the company of their horse, a crackling campfire, and delicious meals.
Our 3-day package includes two half-day and one full-day rides, meals from lunch the first day through lunch the last day, all camping accommodations, guides, and transportation.
Our guides will take you to remote and beautiful locations on the mountain or in the desert, teach you about local and cowboy cultures, and even about primitive and traditional skills, plant uses, animal tracking, and more, all from the back of one of our well-trained horses. We offer much more than just a trail ride!
Meals are prepared each night around a campfire and will stretch your ideas about cowboy cooking. We use fresh fruits and vegetables from our garden, and other wholesome and local ingredients for a truly gourmet experience!

For the rider who would like to spend some time out on the water, or for the couple or group where some would like to fish and some would rather ride, we introduce our combination fly-fishing and riding trips. We combine the expertise of local fly fishing guide Nate Waggoner with our horses and camping infrastructure. Nate will provide all instruction, equipment, and expertise to help you catch some of the most beautiful trout Boulder Mountain has to offer.
